Many users have asked for a print feature in TrackMyTour, which I’m happy to announce has finally been added. It’s still in development, but I’ve pushed an early release of the feature onto the server. The difficulty with this feature was finding a way of flattening the geographic information, photo, and text on each waypoint for printing. My solution was to group waypoints per day, and create a single map per grouping. It’s a slick solution and I’m surprised it took me this long to figure it out.

The print feature is displayed when viewing your map while being logged in on the website (the link is just above the waypoints list). There are known issues when printing with Firefox, so I suggest trying this with Safari or Chrome. I haven’t tested with IE yet.

To create code blocks or other preformatted text, indent by four spaces:

This will be displayed in a monospaced font. The first four
spaces will be stripped off, but all other whitespace
    will be preserved.

Markdown is turned off in code blocks:

To create not a block, but an inline code span, use backticks:

Here is some inline `code`.
